I have set up a windows dedicated server for windows. My windows is W2000 on a dedicated gateway I have for my adsl.

I have followed your tutorial to the letter and got it working ... the webadmin works fine.

Now my big problem is that ... I CANT CONNECT TO IT with my ut2003 on my lan computer.
When I go in the multiplayer screen and join there is no server listed !
secondly i cant find a "specify server" button anywhere

and last of all I tried typing "open 192.168.0.1:7777" to connect to it manually but ... doesnt work

Another thing is that i cant get the console working on my ut !
Do i have to add a "-console" on my shortcut like for CS ?

I looked all around the web to find information and the conclusion I came up with is that my ut2003 is not a good version cause I downloaded the demo and the multiplayer join screen is VERY different from the one on my ut2003 ....

Please help me someone ... PLEASE

use UNREAL://192.168.0.1/ (type it in your browser prompt. It launches UT2003 and auto connects you. Great for setting up shortcuts to your favorite server.)

Port 7777 is the default port and not necessary unless you deviate from the default.

Are you sure you are on the same subnet? Some of the new wireless broadband routers use a different subnet for the wireless lan than from the wired lan. In this case, you will not see it in the LAN tab.

Can you paste your log back to this forum? The only reason I see for there not being a LAN tab, is if you are using an invalid CD Key. If you are using the Dedicated Only CD key to run a game or are using a keygen key... You're SOL. The Master Server blocks your ability to play online.

Have you tried re-installing on the client computer? ...or possibly you may have a corrupted Winsock DLL.
