Not possible since it's heavily dependent on Nexgen 1.12's TCP implementation. Why are you sill running 1.11 if i may ask?
@Shai: Hehe yeah, i'll try to check my places out from time to timr when i get some inet connection

No, to provide further support, I need your ServerPackages, ServerActors and your Serverlog during server startup.

If the question was directed to me; yes, I always test my mods on a dedicated Linux server. There's no real reason either why a UScript only mod shouldn't be working on different OSs

Was wondering because I was trying to help someone (~V~) to get it to work. Right now, it's not finding me on his test server?
@Combo, no I didn't need those files. I only asked about this mod.

You do realise that making bKickForACEBypassAttempt=True by default it stops us Linux guys playing on servers with this mod?

This is basically doing the same as UTDC's 'allow other OS's' flag.

The feature is disabled by default. I explained in the Readme how this one works, all it does it kicking players whose ACE information is not available after X seconds. This came up due to players preventing ACE from initializing them. Until now, I was unaware that ACE doesn't check Linux clients (that's what you are saying, right?). I'm kinda surprised as I always assumed all players are checked (regardless of their OS), so do Linux clients have a whitecard or are they actually checked? If so, are their MAC and Hardware ID available?

The Linux clients are not checked by ACE. The Check class is not spawned hence the MAC and HardwareID of Linux clients are not available.
EDIT:
You may write a switch which kicks only the windows client for not having initialized the Check instance of ACE.

Wow, I must say I'm pretty surprised by that fact. Makes ACE more or less pointless in my opinion...
The Fix is indeed pretty easy to make. The reason why I made the mod check for the presence of the MAC hash and HWID was that I didn't know how exactly people were able to bypass the Checks. I though they either blocked the whole Actor from spawning (as you said), or they were able to just skip the ID detections. Given this new information, it could have been quite easily, maybe they were just running a Linux client
I think I'll leave the mod just as it is, by enabling this feature, server admins will just ensure that all players are checked who are playing (even though they are blocking Linux users out). As I said, the feature is disabled by default so admin have to consider enabling it first.

I installed it on my server to find out why I was kicking myself from One Night Stand, logged in and was kicked. When I checked the ini it was set, but after deleting the ini and restarted server it was false, so I've no idea how it came to be set...
Perhaps adding the code that The_Cowboy would be a good thing?

I will consider releasing 1.03 with that matter fixed.
Do you guys know whether Anth will provide Linux support in his future releases (as he said he planned with two releases for this year)?
