AnthChecker is
wrongfully kicking all non-english users of UT with the following error:
Quote:
|
"Illegal file: Female2Voice (possibly hacked)"
|
despite of their use of a fully legitimate and unhacked copy of UT99, just because the localized voices are (of course) different than the english ones.
AnthraX has announced
a patch for this bug in version 1.39, but it is taking too long. Reading other threads in this forum, it is clear that
despite this critical bug has been reported long time ago, it spans several versions of AnthChecker, and the patch could take several months, maybe more than one year...
Too long to wait for.
But there is an easy workaround to finish this apartheid:
rename or move "Female2Voice.est_uax" (all the other localized files can be kept (as of today, but it could be worse in the future)).
Code:
E:\j\UnrealTournament\Sounds>ren Female2Voice.est_uax F2V.mynameistoby,sir
...and AnthChecker will respect you again, just as if you were a good WASP
