Public IpToCountry server provided by UT-FILES.COM

2399Skillz approached me to maintain a public IpToCountry lookup server, which anyone can use instead of - or in addition to - the server provided by utgl.unrealadmin.org.

Here are some of the advantages:
- Actively maintained to include the most recent IP database
- Returns country names with proper capitalization
- Higher reliability by combining multiple IpToCountry lookup servers

How to set-up:
Open IpToCountry.ini and look for the lines "ConfQueryServers[0]=" and "ConfQueryServers[1]=". I recommend to set the UT-FILES.COM server as the primary lookup since it's more likely to be up-to-date and keep the utgl.unrealadmin.org server as a secondary backup.
Your configuration would then look like this (feel free to copy/paste):

ConfQueryServers[0]=64.34.170.212,iptocountry.ut-files.com/iptocountry13.php
ConfQueryServers[1]=85.236.100.16,utgl.unrealadmin.org/iptocountry13.php

Save IpToCountry.ini and you are done!

Yes, just replace it with the lines above to use the one hosted by ut-files.com and unrealadmin.org.

I had 2 questions on IPtoCountry a while ago, maybe posted in the wrong forum, so here it is again:

1. In my IPToCountry.ini I have room for 255 entries. But it seems to be cleared out at each mapchange.
What setting to I need where to make it use the full space and not clean up all the time?

2. Is there an option to use it with AKAv20K?
The readme says: "How to make use of IpToCountry in your own mod", so maybe it is and I just don't get how?

HI RUSH, I WANTED TO TALK U ABOUT OUR PROBLEM IN SALVATORIAN SERVER CAUSE MEXICANS AND OTHER COUNTRIES SHOW THE FLAGS BUT NOT OUR FLAG.

OUR UT99 SERVER IS: 63.211.110.62:7777

for example a player called: maniak butcher from salvador has ip: 190.87.192.208 AND lightworker.sv has ip: 190.53.22.161 ( sv-cpe-dynamic-190-53-22-161
and falgs doesnt appear

salvatorian flag is http://foro.nod.cl/flags/sv.gif and our country abreviation is: sv

also dominicans sometimes dont show flag: http://foro.nod.cl/flags/do.gif

No it's not. It's just not updated to the newest files I don't think.

However, the site did just recently get moved to a new server. I'm not sure if the game servers resolves an IP address to the domain and stores it somewhere or what, but it should still work.

Well it says after 10 second can not resolve server ut-files bla bla and then its disconnecting it.
