AntiTCC 1.18a + Beta Patch 3323?
Hi!
Today i've updated my linux server running AntiTCC 1.18a and my windows client to the beta patch 3323. But when i try to connect with my windows client to the server i get this error message:
Quote:
blablabla
The server has determined that the file or class
'XGame.WaterRing' is not acceptable
blablabla
|
I've already set bCheckFullMD5=False in my server settings.
How can i solve this problem? Thanks in advance for your replys.

You will also have to disable Anti TCC's integrity checks. This will be fixed in v1.18b.

Thanks for the info Wormbo.
How long until the new version?
Also, can you have the system setup so it uses the MD5 values from the Master Server and the classes installed on the server so that we don't have to worry about needing new revisions everytime there is a patch? Or is that a limitation of UScript/security stuff?

I know that the patch has been made official now (it's the same as the 3323beta). Anti TCC v1.18b Final will be out this week.

Wormbo, wanted to make sure you got this. I posted on Atari and wanted to say thanks for busting some @$$ and hookin up us admins with yer code.
Ahhhhh yes.....Anti-TCC.
My .02 cents on it not that it matters....
Wormbo: You f*cking rock for bustin out Anti-TCC. I was running 23 servers and didn't have problems with your program. Only complaint was all the upgrades and having to edit 23 ini files. I know there's an easier way to do that, but it's on me not you.
I'm sorry to hear about u throwing in the towel, but seriously can't blame you. Anti-cheat coding is a b*tch and a half.
I will continue to use Anti-TCC because cheaters suck, and I haven't seen any lag except upon initial connection to a server. Weigh it out like some dope and that's a dam good deal. 5-10 second choppy up front rather than some fagtard wall hacking or non-stop headshots.....hmmmm....I like that deal.
Fellow admins/gamers: I'll never be able to stop the top notch hacks or hackers which has been accepted. Just the lame bottom feeder wannabe hackers that wish they had real hack skillz. So props to all the top coders out there may it be hack or anti-hack.
