"Why is it not on unrealtournament2004.com yet?"

I've seen this question asked quite frequently in the last few hours over various ut forums. Several 3270 instagib servers are causing people to abort with a GPF. For such a basic simple test, Epic dropped the ball. I"m not reinstalling 3270 until Epic makes a statement.

This is actually a normal occurance. A patch is out for a least a week before you'll usually find any links there.
That's just the way it is. Get over it.

Yes, but is it ignorance or apathy? Maybe a combination of both?

We?ve been listening to your suggestions and present our latest build.

Default Caution: Patch DOES replace the user.ini file.

The descriptions I have read of the patch say it does not replace the user.ini file. So why are all user settinge erased when the patch is installed, and why is there a new user.ini file in the downloaded archive? Also, noticed several mutators no linger work. Will be restoring my server from a backup. Patch is more trouble then it's worth. :-(

Cool

Dunno what you did but after the patch everything in my user.ini was the same as before the patch..(clientside)

Didnt you delete your user.ini because the UT2004 will make a default 1 then

And when you extract the patch in in whole new folder and you look in the system folder of the patch there ISNT a user.ini init..

I patched 7 servers and all running without any problems..

Why would I delete my user.ini file?
I know it will make a new default, but I do not want the default settings, I wanted the settings i had already saved.
Don't know where you got your version of the patch, but the one downloaded from this site DOES have a "User.ini" file in the system folder.
Also, patching a server is NOT the same as patching a client.
A server does not use the use.ini file, while a client does.

The contents are below:

Don't know about 2 versions, but the one available from here and the one available from planetunreal both have the user.ini file in them.
Where did you download your version from?

Also, if you check out some of the other forums you will see that I am not the only one who has had thier user.ini file replaced.

Hi Folks,
Allways try to be one ot the first to patch my server RotterdamRuleZ. Pitty that players were not able to play on my server with the combination of 3270 and antitcc118beta5.
How about the Cacherecords.ucl file, do i still have to replace it with a fresh one everytime my server restart?
The server runs on Slackware Linux with a 2.6.6 kernel

Ik tried everything, unfortunately i had to restore my backed up Systemfolder to give players the change to connect my server.
I found nothing in the logfiles or antitcclogs, What about the antibypasstool file, in the ini file i call it as a serveractor, but when i start the server it says antibypasstool not available, though it is in the systemfolder?

I use now antitcc 116d.
Think i will wait for a few days and then try to patch it again.

Unhappy no ucc-bin-linux-amd64?

Why wasn't an amd64 binary included in this patch? Just the plain old ucc-bin
