both 3353 and 3354 betas have locked my rig solid, with only a squealing noise comming from internal pc speaker.( about 5 mins playing time before this happens)
The official 3339 plays with no issues once i reinstall it over the beta.
wtf ?

Err the Files come Straight from epic.
This is Strange Tax,
I tried 3353 client side and had No issues period.
Did you check your Ut2004 system files??
When I installed Beta 3354 on the server for some strange reason it put the system files in a seperate system folder under System...

Yes, it goes without saying that they are from Epic.. However, they are in peoples hands from specific official origins. If you received them legitimately, you know where the appropriate place to provide feedback is.

That problem was brought up, but only from one person.

Yeah. I saw that. I looked over the installer and I didn't see any reason that should have happened. It worked exactly as it's supposed to on three different machines here and my two servers.

This only happened Server side for System files
patching from 3353 to 3354. All System files were in C:\Ut2004 servers\66.225.197.215\System\System
Client Side patching from 3353 to 3339 did the same Ons.bp.
The ons.bp file was C:\Ut2004\System\System
The reason I knew something was screwed was Safegame beta6a was kickin me for Ons.bp file,
I knew when i Tried to Connect previously to SafeGame 6a running 3353 on my client I would get kicked, Illegal version.
When i patched back to 3339 In order to reconnect to Safegame it kicked me for ons.bp....
So when i went and looked at my system folders, there it was In a new system folder within the system folder. Simply dragging and dropping fixed it
I used the epic link posted by Steve.

The patch still has some bugs. I already have confirmationss from a few testers that it randomly "crashes" which makes the game unplayable.

rgr that
I apologize,
for some strange reason my Client box reverted to 3204 when i reapplied the 3339 patch over 3353.
don't ask me how the hell this happened....
I don't even have 3204.exe anywhere on my machines.
Once i repatched to 3339 everything was fine

this mean that servers without UTAN can take advantage of UTAN ban list also if is not installed?

Yes, you can choose to accept the UTAN Global Bans without signing up or running UTAN on your server. UTAN global bans currently number around ~350 GUIDs.
(Before the flame war starts from the UTAN haters) Server admins can set this to bIgnoreUTANBans=true to not participate. This was a INI edit in version 3353 but is part of the web admin interface in beta 3354.

So, with the implementation of UTAN into the next patch because it's part of the webadmin interface, does this mean we can add "Server Only" bans through webadmin as well? If not, the easiest thing to do would be to set bReceiveUTANBans=True to False, since global bans are now possible because of the patch. Then use the UTAN mutator for your "Server Only" bans, correct?
