No the problem is not ACE related and it is definitely done on purpose. Does the log stop after the Server Shutdown line? There's supposed to be some extra debugging information after that.

Could you scroll up in your serverlog and see if all the options are enabled? I just double checked on my own server (that also runs SCF 1.1) and this attack is stopped successfully over there:

Hey, I appreciate ur work on this prject. Im testing this on 5 servers and it seems that ace does not allow spectators to join. Within maybe 20-30 seconds the player is 'kicked' with the diagnostic code of 0x000000FB

At this point the log ends unfortunately.
Fingers crossed that a quick mini patch can be applied. For BT players especially, spectating is very much a part of the game, for learning maps/techniques etc.
I look forward to any help on this
OH! And also, I can see that ace is making shots and log files. But I cant seem to be able to read or transfer the jpg or txt files via ftp. Each attempt fails

Diagnostic code FB is a known problem, and AnthraX said that he'd make it an option for ACE to check spectators, but it would have to wait for the next version.

It is a combination of the two, ACE doesn't retrieve the HWID for spectators, and the addon doesn't send the login request until the HWID is retrieved. The result is a login timeout.

yes it is important to have HWID from ACE for Spectators including those that try to sneak in via proxy.
once fixed then , no HWID no PLAY & NO SPEC!... would be great.

Ace kick on "timeout during the checks"
After logging onto an Ace server with the latest version, I play for a minute or two, then I get kicked and get this message: "You have been kicked from the server because of a timeout during the checks". If I go back in, the same thing happens after another minute or two.

The only thing which I changed prior to getting this error was I installed demomanager. I have since uninstalled it to the best of my ability (I deleted every udemo file, restored my unrealtournament.ini, uninstalled demomanager thru control panel add/remove programs, deleted my entire cache perm and temp, and deleted and re-downloaded and re-installed every Ace file. However, despite all this, it still says "Recording: No" at the top of my screen, fwiw).
That's pretty much all the info I have. Any suggestions? I've reinstalled all Ace files, previous versions of Ace didn't have this error for me, and I don't use a firewall beyond whatever Windows and my router have. I also generally don't use an antivirus.

Basically Ace keeps kicking me from the server. Prolly i've missed something in documention and im hoping there is anyone who can let me know how to fix it. Thanks
EDIT :
WOW, I've fixed it. All I've had to do was to change UPackages numbers, for 4,5,6,7
