I'm not sure I understand the last part you speak of: "chown utuser Shots/" ?

linux console command to set the owner of the folder.
prolly your server isnt running as root. another local user starts the server which may should be the owner of the shots folder.

however, its been a while i troubleshooted that issue

its takes 11 minutes (!) for this geezer 2 get kicked.. Hes forward all ut ports for his router, ive allowed unknownpackages, gone to manual config, and hes even copied over his core.dll file with the fileversion used on the servers. Running ouut of ideas... preiodiccheck is 120 so where 11 minutes comes from is baffling

I'm being kicked because of D3D10Drv.dll when i'm not using it on UT. When I'm using that video driver it doesn't kick me.

Problems similar to this will be fixed in upcoming version, ACE v0.9 as the whitelist used is in pure text and thus it's easy for server admins to update as new versions of graphics drivers are quite frequent.

On a side note, new version is currently being tested live on Quakenet #project-f.r.a.g 2v2v2v2 iTDM pickup & #zp.2on2 iCTF

Soon. More servers will be fitted with the new protection this week and if everything seems ok a wider release is planned asap.

i am getting crazy with the kicking during check
please somebody wake up and make a new re;lease
i pay if need it but make something cause i play in some servers and i get kicked on i am in glory and u know what i feel ---i hope somebody make a release otherwise i will shoot a bullet in my pc and i will start to play chess or some....

I rather say 'soon', than giving a date as people would then complain about not keeping deadlines. As I said, it's being placed on a couple of more servers this week. We're still discovering weird bugs and it's from our perspective better that we only need to patch/reupload to a handful servers, than releasing it wild, making the rest of you crazy with a bugged version.

shame it doesn't have some sort of auto-update feature like AV's ..

so that Patches could be downloaded and installed as needed..

not sure if UT has this capacity .. but would maybe be advantangeous in the future.

ACE is designed to be future proof, and this has been considered from first version. However that step won't be seen until somewhere after version 1.0.

both logs are from the same player. screenshots look clear so far, however he keeps staring at walls, wondering if hes using some kind of wallhack.
