Master Server Uplink Problem

Hi, i need help stopping my server from uplinking with the master server, i have tryed changing the settings manually but when i start the server up through the GUI it resets the settings in the file and try's to uplink again (i am behind a uni firewall so it can't uplink but it will end up annoying the it guys if i don't stop it)

PS. i need it set to advertise server so qtracker and hlsw etc can see it

You can't advertise without uplink to the masterserver, the masterserver controls the list of servers you see when searching for them, afaik.
What you could do is install a local firewall and disallow outgoing connections to the addresses of the masterserver.
