PureChecker
I know you guys have been waiting a long time for this, so here it is:
This is just a little mod, to verify UTPURE, and any other mods.
It is MAC/LINUX/WINDOWS compatible.
V3 REVISION:
-Fixed serverside Accessed None errors.
-Fixed linux clients being kicked for hacked UTPURE's.
-Added a few serverside code features
Server admins running V2 - must update!!

Seems a nice addition to the other protections. Installed it tonight on my clanserver.
Anyone some suggestions for other checks that you can put in the PureChecker.ini?

Check nbsp if you have it installed. Also MMC although there doesn't seem to be public hack for it.

if you want, you can put this line in, in the next avaliable xCRC[i]=
System/BotPack.u,BotPack,1
that will pickup people, who have used to botpack patch to run elfLITE.
oh and a warning for anyone who adds package:
LINUX = case sensitive, so make sure its 'BotPack.u' for this case

I have both the GOTY edition and Creative bundled version. The creative bundled version patched with the no delta 436 does generate a different checksum than the GOTY edition. So there is more than one valid botpack package out there.

yeh i can't be sure about BotPack.. all i know is that 436, 451, 451b PC, MAC and LINUX give the same checksum.
however this hasn't been tested on the creative patches and such...

Oops, I'm getting some weird behaviour with this last version (misconfigured it ?). Here's what's being written to the server log :
Quote:
Log: Possessed PlayerPawn: bbTMale2 DM-1on1-Ictus.bbTMale2
DevNet: Join succeeded: ~{CEC}aKiRoX
ScriptWarning: AFA DM-1on1-Ictus.AFA0 (Function AntiFA41_Server.AFA.Tick:0091) Accessed None
ScriptWarning: AFA DM-1on1-Ictus.AFA0 (Function AntiFA41_Server.AFA.Tick:0091) Accessed None
ScriptWarning: AFA DM-1on1-Ictus.AFA0 (Function AntiFA41_Server.AFA.Tick:0091) Accessed None
ScriptWarning: AFA DM-1on1-Ictus.AFA0 (Function AntiFA41_Server.AFA.Tick:0091) Accessed None
(and so on)
|
And here's the message I get in the console :
Quote:
PureChecker: Verifying Client...
PureChecker: Client Verfied Succesfully!
[0]Fearless had an timeout
-----------------------------------------------------------
TIMEOUT
-----------------------------------------------------------
You have a timeout, reconnect to the server for a new check.
-----------------------------------------------------------
|
P.S: Any way of dumping text from the console to a text file ?

suck, I bumped the timeout value to 25 and even 30 and it doesn't seem to help. Timeouts will occur randomly or on map changes. The latest AntiFA spams script warnings each time it's up with PureChecker. I actually had to take AntiFA off.

Make sure you only add AntiFA41_C to the checksum list. AntiFA41_Server is server-side file, hence there's no way to compare the checksum for that file between server and client.

AntiFA wasn't in the CRC list when I carried out tests. Do you think adding it will make any difference ?

Yes, the problem disappears completely .
