WormBot v2 Released
The Wormbot IRC Reporter (or just Wormbot for short) is a mutator for Unreal Tournament 2004, which combines a reporter bot and a chat relay bot.
The reporter bot sends ingame events (kills, captures and so on) to a channel in an IRC network, while the chat relay bot sends ingame Say messages to the channel (TeamSay messages are not sent to IRC) and can also send IRC chat back to the UT2004 server. Depending on the configuration, the two bots can either share a single connection or use two individual connections to the IRC network.
Most noteable changes from release 1 are the option to disable kill messages and the fix for the infinite map change delay bug.
New Features: - Option to reduce the amount of kill messages reported or turn them off
completely.
- Option to report multi kills. (enabled by default)
- Option to limit the map change delay time.
- It's possible to specify a chat trigger now. Only channel messages
prefixed with this string will be seen ingame.
- It's also possible to prevent non-chat messages from being displayed
ingame.

I still have the map switch problem, but its different now...
Atleast I managed to pull something out of the UCC.log this time.

the bot is slow, or need to report LOTT less info
@ a default heavy fight in Onslaught we have to wait over 20 sec (i had 40 oid max) until all the messages where reported and then the map was switching
WormBOT & Onslaught = nogo

Try turning off kill messages. In heavy Onslaught fights they are irrelevant anyway. You can turn off quite a lot and even separate chat and reporter. RTFM or at least check out the webadmin interface and you'll see.

Your best bet is to set up the topic in IRC and paste it to the INI file. Webadmin (or better: the text input box in your browser) is not designed to handle IRC control codes.

Ok, I followed all the install process of the wormbot on my server. Still the wormbot never connect on the channel I registered.
The channel is on the server irc.protium.org.
Is there something I should know ? Is the wormbot only meant for quakenet server ?

What do you mean by "turn off connects"? IRC reporters are all about connecting...

It's always the same and if you cared to have a look at the Wormbot thread on my subforum you'd probably know I was going to say this:
Enable debug logging and let the bot (not) connect. Turn off debug logging and check the log file the Wormbot mutator created for you in the UserLogs directory.

I am sorry about it Wormbo. I didn't even notice there was a thread about Wormbot v2.
Anyway I don't realy understand about "enabling debug logging". I supposed I had to enter a name for the logfile to enable the debug logging, and that's what I did.
My server.ini got this "DebugLogFileName=reportlog". I played with someone else, since my server startup command line got this WormbotReporter.MutWormbot?minplayers=2.
Then I turned off (I supposed by leaving empty the value of DebugLogFileName) the debug logging.
Still I didn't find any log file in my userlogs directory.
Maybe I am wrong about the way it should have been done... I'm sorry, I'm a noob at it.

Ok guys.... no more help needed.
I've finaly found what was wrong.
My provider simply turned off all irc standard ports so I couldn't use port 6777. They simply suggested me to use 7878 and it finaly worked.
The bot works great. Thx for that nice Job Wormbo...
