Updating Dedicated Server 3323 to 3355 for Mac OS X
Ok. I've got an installation of the dedicated server 3323 updated to 3355 by using the Linux patch. For some reason I thought that updating it to 3355 would update the ucc-bin-macosx binary to 3355 as well. It didn't. It is probably still 3323. I've downloaded the updater for Mac OS X to update the retail version of UT2k4, but it won't run because it can't find the Application bundle for UT2k4. I just want to extract the proper updated files and put them in the updated 3355 directory so that I won't get an error each time I try to run the 3323 ucc-bin-macosx with updated 3355 files. I notice that the installer uses this thing called mojopatch. Has anyone figured out a way to extract the files from the mojopatch system thing? I'm thinking I just need the ucc-bin-macosx [or ucc-bin] to get my setup working. Why can't they just release a 3355 updated dedicated server? That way everything would be updated and ready to go once downloaded, extracted, and tweaked to taste.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanx!
