Please post all Ladder & Config Manager questions to this thread. It's come to my attention that the instructions aren't very clear on some things, so if you have any issues or questions, I'll do my best to clear those up

Maybe the most important question first: How can I download both of them ? The download links are not working :sigh:

Is it by design that the web port is automatically changed to 5555 when you install configmanager ?

Hmm, no....that was a bug in the first release of Config Manager, but I believe it was fixed in version 1.3 (latest is 1.5).
What version of Config Manager are you using? What was the name of the .zip file you downloaded?

Yeah, you're right. I had this Bug in the old version .. just remembered. In the new one it's ok.
But one other thing, the securty system isn't all right.
If you create a user with only "switch" rights for ladder(1.33) he will have all other rights aswell.

Can you post the portion of the log that shows this error message?

Konqueror? I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about...
Can you post your log (or even a screenshot of what you're talking about)?

Well reset to origanal and went through and it works mostly now allthough I am not able to set my maps for some reason
in Review Profile
Profile Maps Check each map that will be required (non-removable) for this profile. Maximum maps allowed in this profile's maplist
At this spot I am able to set the # but my selected maps do not show up so I tryed reguardless to finnish the process and I get my whole batch of maps on the server as far as I can tell
Also if you go to curent game it where you could normly switch it gives me a big ***NONE*** in the window.
OOOO ya Konqueror is a browser for KDE in linux

Try getting the latest versions of Config Manager & Ladder and tell me if you still getting these issues.
The Set Maps button will give you a scripting error if you haven't selected any maps on the "Profile Maps" page. If you have maps checked, and are still getting this error message, your browser might just be incompatible with Javascript, which is used on the Profile Maps page.

I get the same problems with the new version not allowing me to set mape in Netscape 7.1 on linux but found Opera will work. I have not been near a windows box so I cant say what is up there. It is a great tool

OK, looks like it's just that the browser was incompatible with the javascript code that I have on the Profile Maps page. I'll look into doing something about that in a future version.

Finally got this thing aworkin. Heres a request. Can we add the 'server name' to the profile? (Profile changes, servername changes). That would be sweet.
BONK me if I am missing this feature if it's already there.
