Which is the best version of zp instagib i can get - for the least laggy shots. At the moment i have zeroping v100 running on my server, but how does this compare to v210 and utpure zp insta?

also i would like to know is there any mod to get colour instagib. i know that zp v210 has colour instagib as an option, but if that is not the least laggy then i would not want it.

in the respect of UT Pure and zp v100, Pure has only 2 colours for insta and zp v100 has none. i have tried using "Color 111" with zp v100 but they do not seem to be compatible.

so what is the least laggy zp

and can i get full 4 colours with it

if it comes down to it that there is one zp much less laggy than any of the others and i cant have colour with it, then i dont mind, im just searching here

You definitely want to transit to either ZP 2.1 or ZPPure; zeroping 1 has a few bugs and exploits and it's a bad idea using it online. I think the colorgib module of ZP 2.1 supports multiple colour beams. If not then get the file SixtSense suggest by downloading DM-BDC-Bonfire.

I'm running a very popular zp server using zp100 and haven't encountered any problems. I found it much better than zp210.

However as Fearless said zp100 has a few security problems, but if you add it to NBSP's or PureChecker's CRC checks it won't be a problem.

i would prefer to use the least laggy zp (Rush you suggest that i am using it) but i still need a mod for coloured shots - if you could link me please sixtsense...

o_O hmm thats odd...

i know that when using zp v210 a lot of my players said that it was a laggy zp version... and its probably cause of the security on it, but i never noticed a difference between colours :S

theres a lot of different zps around, what makes them different - is it a different netcode or something is it simple enough to make a zp - im thinking if i learn how to make my own things i can look at whats good in current zps and see if it can be re written from scratch and improved upon - anyone here got ideas for that??

There are probably only 2 zp netcodes:
-zp100, ZPPure
-zp2 and and other renamed versions

Writing your own zp would really be a challange but If you really plan to do so than good luck.
