Default Server connect problem

I've read the previous posts about getting UT2K4 server working under OSX but seem to have a problem not covered there. I used the following command in the terminal to fire up the server:

/blah/blah/UT2004-3186-DedicatedServer/System/ucc-bin-macosx server DM-Antalus.ut2 game=SkaarjPack.Invasion ini=ut2004.ini -nohomedir

I found the if I had quotes surrounding the gametype that the server would not start.

The server starts up, reads the ut2004.ini file I made for it, connects to the masterserver, connects to the gamespy server, and starts the webmin server. I can login to the webmin server, I've fixed the CacheRecords.ucl problem so I can see all the maps and game types. I can change maps with webmin. All good....except....I can't connect to the server locally or using the external IP. I've got the ports mapped through my NAT router and all that jazz. But since I can't connect through the local network I think the problem lies somewhere besides NAT problems. One thing I did notice, the command above does not properly launch an invasion game, it defaults to DM...which I suppose is due to the map being DM only? Any help would be appreciated.

Update number 2
Got the server working LAN side by connecting with LAN IP address (had to set the broadcast to LAN setting in the .ini to TRUE). Now it's tweak time for the .ini, guess if you hack at it enough ya can get it to work.

Update 3

I fixed the terminal command so that it would lunch an invasion server, here's the syntax:

/blah/blah/UT2004-3186-DedicatedServer/System/ucc-bin-macosx server "DM-Antalus?game=SkaarjPack.Invasion ini=ut2004.ini -nohomedir"

You don't have to specifiy the full directory path to the .ini if you name it "ut2004.ini" and stick it in the "System" folder of the dedicated server.

Sometimes it's necessary to preface the command with a ./ to tell the OS to execute the binary from the specified directory (a unix thing I don't fully understand).
