Map's install
Ok I'm a noob but I have been playing UT for many years and decided to setup a dedicated server for bunch of work buddies. I have the server running and have all of the bonus packs installed. I just can't figure out how to add additional maps to the server. Most that I come across are for regular game play and wont install to the dedicated server. I know I need to modify the UT2003.ini file which I an familiar with but I can seem to get any of the new maps install correctly. They do not show up in the "Game MapList Management" in the admin console. For example: I've added wildwest to the end (I removed the others for easy of viewing)
[Engine.GameEngine]
CacheSizeMegs=32
UseSound=True
ServerActors=IpDrv.MasterServerUplink
ServerActors=UWeb.WebServer
ServerPackages=wildwest_v101
Do you guys have some help for me? And yes I've tried the search here and google. That's why I'm posting.

Dump the maps an related files into their corresponding folders and you should be ready to go already. Remember that a server restart may be required, but INI modification is usually not necessary, I think.
BTW: Is that a typo or are you really talking about UT2003, not UT2004?

Thanks for the reply. I tried what you said and the maps are still not installing. And yes I have a 2003 game not 2004. Maybe I should look for a 2004 game and try a 2004 server.

Keep in mind that UT2004 maps will not work in UT2003, also demo servers will refuse to show any non-demo content. Also make sure you install all required files of the map. The server's log file (server.log or ucc.log) should tell you about problems with missing package files.
